Letter from the Editor
Dear Readers,
As I write this a storm crashes outside, rain and thunder and occasional lightning—a sure sign, at least in this part of the world, that summer has set in. Out here in the East fireflies greet the season, as do piles of books from the library, for in my family summer has always meant reading, reading, reading. So what better time to welcome you, our readers and listeners, to a fresh issue of the Dirty Napkin? I'm excited about this issue, particularly because as the new Fiction Editor I've had the privilege of being involved in the making of it. Thanks to the editors for welcoming me, and thanks to all of you—our contributors and our readers—for making this issue happen.
Be well,
Abigail
